Hemodialyzer, also known as dialyzer, is a pipe and container for solute exchange between blood and dialysate, and is a key part of hemodialysis. The dialyzer is mainly composed of a support structure and a dialysis membrane. The latter is an important component, a semi-permeable membrane that only allows molecules smaller than the membrane pore size to pass through. The membrane material is a modified cellulose membrane and a synthetic membrane, both of which can be made into high-throughput dialyzers.
Chinese name: dialyzer
Also known as: hemodialyzer
Structure: hollow fiber, shell, sealing layer and end cap
Disinfection method: Most dialyzers are disinfected with ethylene oxide
