Product Description
The dialyzer for hemodialysis is a single-use device for hemodialysis and hemodiafiltration in patients with acute and chronic renal failure. While there are no absolute contraindications, use with caution in cases of material allergies, severe intracranial hemorrhage, unresponsive severe shock, severe myocardial disease with heart failure, active bleeding, and untreated mental disorders.
Precautions
1. For use by trained doctors or nurses following relevant guidelines and regulations.
2. Ensure aseptic operation and immediate use after connecting to the bloodline.
3. Maximum trans-membrane pressure is 66.5 kPa (500 mmHg); avoid unnecessary pressure to prevent leaks.
4. Adhere strictly to the manufacturer's instructions and precautions.
5. Recommended for adults only; safety for pregnant patients is not established.
6. Reduced performance if used below the recommended flow rate or against instructions.
7. Monthly testing of blood routine, renal function, and blood electrolytes is suggested.
8. Use with compatible dialyzer machines, bloodlines, and dialysate that meet national and international standards. Discontinue if complications arise.
9. Maximum usage duration is 4 hours.
10. Dialysate must meet ISO 13485 and MDD/MDR standards.

What happens during hemodialysis?
Hemodialysis treats acute or chronic renal failure by filtering waste and excess fluids from the blood. Your blood is diverted outside your body to a dialyzer, often called an "artificial kidney."
At the start of a session, a nurse or technician inserts two needles into your arm. These needles allow blood to flow to the dialyzer and back again. After proper training, some patients may insert the needles themselves. Numbing cream or spray can reduce discomfort during needle insertion.
The needles are connected to soft tubes attached to a dialysis machine. This machine pumps blood through the dialyzer and monitors key parameters, ensuring safe and effective treatment. Inside the dialyzer, blood flows through thin fibers with a semi-permeable membrane that removes waste, toxins, and excess fluids while retaining essential components. A dialysate fluid on the opposite side of the membrane carries away the filtered waste.
The machine continuously checks your blood pressure and adjusts blood flow and fluid removal to prevent complications. After filtration, the blood returns to your body through the second needle. This process repeats throughout the session, typically lasting about four hours, three times a week, depending on medical recommendations.
Hemodialysis is a life-sustaining treatment that helps maintain fluid and electrolyte balance, enabling patients with kidney failure to manage their condition and improve their quality of life.
