Material
Transparent wound dressings are usually made of transparent polymer elastomer materials, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, polylactic acid, etc., among which polyurethane materials are more commonly used. These materials have good flexibility, transparency, air permeability and water resistance. They can adapt to the shape changes of different parts of the body and provide effective protection for the wound.
Structure
It generally consists of two parts. One is a transparent polymer film, which serves as the main part of the dressing and provides functions such as water resistance, air permeability and visibility. The other is a medical pressure-sensitive adhesive coated on one side of the film, which is used to firmly attach the dressing to the skin around the wound, ensuring that the dressing remains in a stable position during the wound healing process.
