AV Fistula Needle

Scope of Application: The disposable AV fistula needle is suitable for blood vessel puncture in clinical hemodialysis.

Product Performance And Structure: AV fistula needle is composed of protective sleeve of arteriovenous fistula needle, butterfly, needle tube, PVC tube, on-off clamp, female conical fitting and joint protective sleeve. This product is mainly made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), stainless steel, polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE). The product is sterilized by ethylene oxide, sterile.

1. Check the vascular pathway and find out the direction and pulsation of the blood vessels, and disinfect the puncture site after selecting the puncture point.

2. According to the blood vessel thickness and blood flow requirements, select the appropriate specifications of products, close the on-off clamp, remove the protective sleeve of needle tube, puncture the vein first, and then puncture the artery, the artery end puncture point is more than 3cm from the arteriovenous fistula, and the distance between the arteriovenous puncture point is more than 10cm.

3. Release the joint protective sleeve, release the on-off clamp, and close the tube if there is blood flow.

4. Fix the fistula needle. The first dose of heparin was injected according to the doctor's order.

5. Connect the female conical fitting of the product with the pre-filled blood tube firmly, and then use it according to the

operation rules of blood purification.

6. After pulling out the fistula needle, press the puncture site for about 2-3 minutes. After using elastic bandage or adhesive tape to press the puncture site of artery and vein for 10-20 minutes, check that there is no bleeding or osmotic blood in the puncture site of artery and vein, and then loosen the bandage.

The product should be stored in a clean room with no corrosive gas and good ventilation, and the product should be fully protected.
